John Stratford is Senior Vice President & General Manager for Gap Global Online based in San Francisco, CA. John is responsible for the strategic growth, operations, and P&L management of the online business. John learned the retail business from the ground-up, beginning his career as a Gap Store Manager in 1992. He graduated from Gap Inc.’s Retail Management Executive Training Program several years later and began working in the Online channel for Gap in 1999. He has worked on the merchandising and marketing sides of the online business and across the Gap, Banana Republic, and Old Navy brands. Prior to joining TechStyle, LJ was on the founding team of FabKids as COO/CFO.  FabKids was acquired by TechStyle (formerly JustFab, Inc.) in January 2013.  LJ’s start-up experience also includes scaling Tea Collection, a high-end children’s apparel brand in San Francisco, where she served as COO/CFO from early stages to a profitable, multi-channel venture. She’s worked in larger companies also, both as a management consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton and in house with Levi Strauss & Co.

An accomplished executive with significant experience leading digital innovation and startups, Brock leads Petco’s efforts to use digital tools and applications to educate and engage the modern pet parent. Brock joined the company in March 2017 when Petco acquired PetCoach, where he was the CEO and cofounder. PetCoach is an app (iOS and Android) and online pet advice service that connects pet parents with experienced veterinary professionals for personalized care.

Previously, Brock was a Venture Partner of tech accelerator ICONYC Labs and Managing Director of his angel investment fund, Atai Ventures. Brock also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Officer at PetSmart after selling Pet360, a venture-backed leading consumer engagement, digital media and subscription ecommerce company, where he was CEO for five years. Brock was also co-founder and CEO of startup, Fathead and a senior leader at InterActiveCorp, a media entertainment company. Previously, she spent 12 years at Travelocity where she held a number of senior and director-level product management roles that involved but not limited to developing next-generation shopping initiatives, product strategies and definitions, managing product life cycles, and launching new products for international brands.

Essig graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Duke University. She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY with her two sons and husband.

Miki joined KIDBOX LLC -- the first kids’ style box offering premiere brands, significant savings and a mission to clothe one million children -- as Chief Executive Officer in September 2016. She was hired by Haim Dabah,  founder and managing partner of HDS Capital and co-founder of KIDBOX. 

From 2014 to 2016, Miki was President, Digital Commerce & Chief Marketing Officer, EVP at Chico’s FAS. She  oversaw the Digital Commerce business and Marketing strategy for three distinct brands, Chico’s, White House  Black Market and Soma Intimates. A former professional opera singer and actor, Erik parlayed a successful career in the performing arts into a web development venture serving the entertainment industry in 2000. Within a couple years, he was running day-to-day operations for a client and launching brands in direct response channels such as QVC. His career has since seen him take on roles of increasing responsibility at brands such as Edun (LVMH), Lacoste, bebe, and francesca’s, where he joined in 2015 as SVP, Direct to Consumer & Marketing. 

 

Erik holds a BA from Duke, a MM from the New England Conservatory of Music, and an MBA from INSEAD, where he was the recipient of the L’Oreal Scholarship for Creativity and Entrepreneurship. He currently lives in Houston with his wife and their two children.
