Alan Wizemann is an accomplished technology and product executive with over 25 years of experience creating the ideas, teams, and platforms behind multi-million-dollar startups and billion-dollar digital businesses. Since 1998, he has built products and organizations that have transformed some of the largest companies in North America—generating billions in incremental revenue through systematic, innovative, and scalable approaches to digital and AI-driven growth.
Alan currently serves as Chief Digital Officer of Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, where he leads world-class digital, data, and AI capabilities across suppliers, customers, and sales organizations. He is also a member of The Wall Street Journal Technology Council, contributing expertise on emerging technologies, AI adoption, and enterprise transformation.
Throughout his career, Alan has held senior executive and C-level roles at iconic brands and high-growth companies including Munchkin, quip, goop, WebMD Health Services, Dollar Shave Club, lululemon, and Target. His leadership spans product management, engineering, experience design, digital commerce, data & analytics, cloud infrastructure, and organizational transformation. He has overseen global organizations exceeding 700 employees, including large engineering and product organizations with full P&L responsibility.
As Founder and Chief Product Officer of ShopIgniter—his most successful startup—Alan built one of the first social commerce platforms, powering experiential digital marketing and revenue growth for over 100 major brands including Nike, Target, Toyota, Sony, Amazon, and Macy's. The platform helped pioneer the early shift toward performance-driven, social-led digital retail.
Alan's expertise sits at the intersection of product strategy, modern engineering practices, AI enablement, organizational design, and large-scale digital transformation. He has deep experience building high-performing agile teams, architecting system-level product roadmaps, and turning legacy workflows into automated, intelligent, revenue-generating capabilities.
