Smriti Jayaraman has spent 15+ years investing in and advising leading technology companies across the country. At Corazon Capital, she leads investments in consumer tech, commerce enablement and marketplace businesses with a focus on operating experience and sector expertise powered by the firm's entrepreneurial history running iconic brands. Prior to joining Corazon, Smriti launched Kraft-Heinz's first venture fund Evolv Ventures, backing consumer and commerce tech founders with a focus on themes in wellness, sustainability and the future of retail. Prior to launching Evolv, Smriti was an investor at Guild Capital, a first-check, platform-focused venture firm guiding early stage eCommerce companies from inception to scale. Smriti spent her early career at Bain & Company where she advised Fortune 100 Tech, Media, and Mobile companies and leading Private Equity firms in M&A, consumer insights, product innovation, and strategic transformation. Smriti holds a BA in Political Science with honors and a BS in Business Administration from the University of California Berkeley, as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School. Smriti currently lives in the SF Bay Area with her husband and 3 kids.
