Christopher Carl is a strategy, operations and marketing executive with an established track record of building multimillion-dollar businesses, leading and growing cross-functional teams, and developing and executing go-to-market plans for agencies and brands within the retail, beauty, spirits, lifestyle, hospitality, and luxury goods industries.
As the first US Head of Marketing for AliExpress, his primary goal has been to develop and deploy robust business strategies that not only help promote the brand but also empower the American consumer. Since joining the team in May 2023, he has contributed to growing AliExpress’ order volume by 60% YOY, helped grow the US brand share of voice by more than 75% in year one, bolstered the US headcount by 400%, increased the brand’s cross-platform social media following by 500% in the US, and increased brand awareness by 100%.
As the largest consumer demographic, Gen Z is reshaping the retail landscape with their unique preferences and expectations.
