Danielle Vermeer is an experienced leader in fashion, tech, and sustainability on a mission to make secondhand consumers' first choice. She is the VP of Social Commerce at ThredUp, one of the largest online resale platforms for apparel, shoes, and accessories. Prior to joining ThredUp, she was the Co-Founder & CEO of Teleport, a startup building the "TikTok for thrifting" app for Gen Z secondhand fashion, and was the Product Lead at Amazon Fashion for the luxury resale business and customer experience. Danielle has an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS from Georgetown University. She's had a 100% thrifted and secondhand closet for over 14 years, and enjoys treasure hunting for vintage finds.
