Kristin Schoenstein has been a Program Director with Worldwide Business Research since 2010 and has been producing events since 2004. She also successfully launched and grew WBR’s customer experience portfolio. In her role, she is responsible for market research, content creation and speaker faculty management for each event. Fernando Madeira is President of ipsy, the beauty company of the creator movement. Tennille joined Fresh in April 2018 to drive the global brand vision and strategy with the objective of doubling the business over the next 3 years. She joined LVMH in 2015, as the SVP of North America Marketing for Dior where she was responsible for managing the Dior US and Canada business and closing the gap verses the global leadership position it holds worldwide. Here she orchestrated the local execution of the Maison’s creations, spanning everything from the go-to market of products, in-store to media and digital securing the successful trajectory.

Rachael Vegas is the Chief Merchant at Brandless, a new online store that makes better stuff at fairer prices available to everyone. She leads the merchandising team in creating and curating an amazing assortment of products across food, health and wellness, beauty and home goods.

Co-founder and chief visionary of Tuft & Needle (T&N), John-Thomas “JT” Marino is a passionate storyteller, facilitator and teacher, inspiring T&N's most challenging and disruptive projects. JT leads the design and marketing division of the company and has been instrumental in redefining the sleep industry and retail experience through the businesses’ rapid nationwide retail expansion, award-winning company culture, evolving product offering and acclaimed advertising campaigns.
With $6,000 of personal investment in 2012, JT and his business partner, Daehee Park, have grown T&N from $1 million in their first full year of business to $170 million+ in annual revenue in less than six years. Moreover, the company has expected revenue projections for 2018 around $250 million.
Pioneering the disruption of the mattress industry space from brick and mortar to e-commerce, JT is now leading the charge in reinventing retail as we know it to create a true omni-channel “clicks to bricks” experience for consumers. The brand is widely known for iterating, and JT is at the helm of this retail evolution.
Prior to T&N, JT combined principles from both design and engineering to develop future-forward software products in the high-tech industry, and he has applied this same discipline to reimagining the sleep industry. JT has extensive experience building and leading teams of designers and engineers, along with researchers and scientists, to develop innovative experiential initiatives. JT started his career as an engineer at the world's leading software application consultancy, where he accelerated his experience through working amongst the foremost thought leaders and tech leaders for VC-funded startups and Fortune 500 companies.
JT has been featured on FOX Business, Entrepreneur, Forbes, Inc., Recode, Buzzfeed, Mashable, among others, and he is a frequent keynote speaker at startup and industry events such as SXSW, Startup Grind and ShopTalk. Ashley Merrill is the CEO and Founder of Lunya, bringing a unique problem-solving approach to designing sleepwear for the modern woman. With a BA and MBA from UCLA Anderson, Ashley is committed to Lunya being a vehicle for positive change - utilizing her background in tech & investing to build a successful and rapidly growing fashion brand with a deeper mission. Beyond building Lunya, Ashley is an active supporter and board member for Girls Inc., a supporter of both Upstream and Planned Parenthood, and invests in many female entrepreneurs and funds. She is a Southern California native and resides there with her two young children and her husband.

Mr. Jeff Kearl serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Stance. Mr. Kearl Co-founded Precedent Investments in 2012. He serves as a Venture Partner of Zetta Venture Partners. Mr. Kearl served as Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Marketing Officer of Arteis, Inc. From April 2007 to April 2008, Mr. Kearl served as Director of Strategy and New Ventures for Hewlett Packard. He ran strategy and new ventures at HP. Mr. Kearl served as the Chief Marketing Officer of LogoWorks. He also overseen new, internal business units within Logoworks such as DIY design and was responsible for corporate development including venture capital financing and M&A and co-founded the firm. Mr. Kearl worked as an Associate at vSpring Capital. He served as an Associate at vSpring III, L.P., VSpring I, L.P. and VSpring II, L.P. Prior to vSpring Capital, he founded Freeport.com, Inc. and served as its Vice President of Business Development & Product Marketing. He was also involved with several start-ups such as Cerberian, comScore, Control4, Mediconnect Global and Senforce. In 1997, Mr. Kearl Co-founded and served as Vice President of sales of Apex Training & Development. Previously, he spent four years in management consulting focused on organizational development and competitive strategy. Mr. Kearl started his career at the Covey Leadership Center where he worked in various sales, marketing and product management roles until it was acquired by Franklin Quest in 1997. He serves as the Chairman of Stance. Mr. Kearl serves as a Director of Needle, Inc., Julep, Stance and Connect SDSI. He serves as a Member of Advisory Boards of several Utah companies. He served as the Director of Skullcandy, Inc. from 2005 to October 03, 2016 and Chairman until June 13, 2013. Mr. Kearl teaches entrepreneurial finance in the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University, his alma mater. Mr. Kearl holds a BA in Marketing from Brigham Young University.
Zach Zelner is a leader in the world of startups and entrepreneurship. His pursuits have involved industries ranging from tech to cannabis. In 2012, Zach launched a cookie delivery operation out of his college apartment and subsequently scaled it to 3 brick-and-mortar locations with over 100 employees. Soon after, he founded a tech company, Penny Logistics, which grew to a $15M company in 5 months. Zach then started DocMJ, a physician’s practice offering medical cannabis cards to qualified patients in Florida. This business expanded to 15 clinics around the state. Most recently, Zach started PupSocks, an e-commerce company producing custom socks with customer-submitted pet photos. PupSocks quickly scaled to $8M revenue in 30 days and became one of the fastest-growing e-commerce stores ever.
Divya Gugnani brings 20 years of investment and entrepreneurial experience to her role as CEO and Co-Founder of Wander Beauty, a company focused on multitasking beauty essentials created with global inspiration. Launched in 2015 Wander Beauty has proven to be one of the fastest emerging brands in the country, with over 14 highly prestigious beauty awards under their belt, including two Allure Best of Beauty Awards, plus a loyal following of A-list celebrities, top journalists and notable beauty and style influencers. Prior to that, Divya co-founded Send the Trend, an e-commerce site focused on personalized fashion and beauty, and sold it to QVC, where she focused on digital innovation. She is a serial entrepreneur and has co-founded multiple companies.
Divya started her business career in Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs and then moved on to private equity and venture capital at Investcorp International and FirstMark Capital. Divya is a self- proclaimed startup junkie, a food and fashion lover, as well as a beauty experimenter. She has appeared regularly on several shows on CNBC, NBC and MSNBC. She has also been featured in The New York Times, Vanity Fair, BusinessWeek, TIME Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, The Deal, and Crain’s, among several other publications.

Hari Mari’s story started in Indonesia, where the husband and wife team, Jeremy and Lila Stewart, lived and worked for several years, starting in 2007. During their time in the island nation, Jeremy was producing a documentary film on children fighting hunger and malnutrition in Southeast Asia, and Lila was volunteering on behalf of the American Women’s Association in Jakarta, spearheading in-country fundraising, clothing drives, and food donations to aid and support orphans across the archipelago. Their unique & indelible experiences clicked and spurred a collective passion for helping kids abroad.
Moving back to the States in 2010 and expecting their first child, the two decided the next project they undertook would be to help kids here in the US, and when they saw an unmet need for comfortable and colorful flip flops at a premium level, they married the two passions together to found Hari Mari.

Igor joined The Home Depot in 2015 and has over 20 years of digital retail technology experience. He has held various roles of influence throughout his career with emphasis on ecommerce and software development. Most recently, during the last 3 years, Igor was a general manager of Home Depot subsidiary, Redbeacon, LLC, where Igor lead major team and technology transformation from a separately operated company to a fully-fledged Home Depot business unit, that is now merged with the rest of Home Depot Services Organization.
Prior to joining The Home Depot, Igor was Chief Technology Officer for Sears Online Business Unit, Sr. Director Engineering at Walmart.com, as well as Vice President Engineering at several Silicon Valley Startups.
Ted Baker is a Husband, Father, and the CEO/Cofounder of QALO Inc. Qalo is a lifestyle company based in Southern California that he and his business partner KC Holiday launched in 2013, after his wife asked if he was "ever going to wear a wedding ring?!” Education includes a BS in economics from George Mason University, followed by an MBA in Financial Systems Analysis, and International Business from Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles. Dr. Zahir Dossa is the
Co-founder and CEO of Function of Beauty, a digitally-native,
hyper-customizable personal care company that individually formulates products
based on one’s unique goals and preferences. Zahir is a graduate of

sustainability. After graduating, Zahir received a
postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for Sustainability at the IMD Business

Prior to Boot Barn, Hazen was responsible for Commerce and Subscriptions at Ring, now an Amazon Company. Throughout his career, Hazen has pioneered digital innovations including patented technology for Nike and some of the first Apple Watch retail applications at True Religion, featured by Apple Inc. Bobby Lyons is the Chief Digital Officer for Markwins Beauty Brands, the manufacturer of Wet N’ Wild Beauty, LipSmacker, LORAC, Physician’s Formula, Bonne Bell, and Black Radiance cosmetic brands. Bob has over 20 years’ experience in e-commerce executive management across technology, marketing, and operations. Bobby worked previously in the beauty and healthcare space as a digital transformation executive at Walgreens, Drugstore.com, SkinStore.com, and has provided consulting services for companies ranging from startup to Fortune 500 to include lululemon, TopHatter, IMVU, Windsor Fashions, and Swimsuitsforall.
Bogdan Constantin is a serial entrepreneur. He previously founded Menguin - the world's first online suit and tuxedo rental company. He scaled the business by over 10,000% and within 2.5 years sold to the founder of Mens Wearhouse. Post sale he was the CMO of Generation Tux Holdings where he grew the business by over 400% within 3 months. He is now the founder of Voxie - a conversational commerce platform that helps brands build relationships with their customers, at scale. He is also an active angel investor and startup mentor helping brands innovating in the B2C space. When not building businesses, Bogdan enjoys spending time with his family; wife Amy and daughter Quinn. He currently resides in Atlanta, GA.
Aaron Zagha is currently the CMO at Newton Baby, the direct-to-consumer brand behind the safest baby crib mattress on the market in addition to other top-rated sleep products. He was previously the head of eComemrce for Teleflora’s international operations. Aaron also currently serves on the board of Westside Analytics, an online data mining firm providing competitive analysis and research to corporate clients in eCommerce and to restaurants chains. Prior to Newton and Teleflora, Aaron was a co-founder and COO of Ownza.com, the social shopping and rebate site.
A seasoned marketing and communications leader with deep experience in the retail/fashion space, Ranu Coleman serves as Chief Marketing Officer for Azazie, the direct-to-consumer company focused on high-quality, custom-fit, affordable bridesmaid dresses and wedding gowns. Joining Azazie in February 2018, Coleman leads the marketing team in implementing brand strategy, driving awareness of Azazie’s product offerings and engaging consumers with the brand.
Previously Coleman was director of marketing for a cutting-edge tech company, following a year as senior program manager consultant, store design for Sephora, where she led the rollout of a new urban location prototype, Sephora Studio. From 2013-15 Coleman served as manager, brand marketing for equestrian footwear and apparel brand Ariat International after a similar post for Dreamwear where, for five years, her responsibilities included negotiating and shepherding strategic partnerships with national brands including Nicole Miller, Skinnygirl by Bethany Frankel, Playboy, XOXO and Laura Ashley.
Coleman began her career as a brand manager for Earthbound LLC and received her bachelor’s degree in political science from UC Irvine and professional designation program-visual communications degree from Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM). Ranu Coleman is married with one child and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.

As a communication strategist at McCann Worldgroup, Alon identified a major blindspot in analyzing competitive advertising, where 85% of sponsored posts are not viewable to the public – creating a massive gap in competitive insight. Alon collaborated with BrandTotal’s co-founders to develop marketing technology built on the principles of machine learning AI and military grade cyber security data collection to develop the BrandTotal Agile Marketing Platform. Alon holds a Masters in Behavioral and Management Sciences at Technion Israel Institute of Technology.

Lisa focuses on seed to late stage venture companies with an emphasis on consumer Internet, digital commerce and next-generation marketplaces. She has been involved with the firm’s investments in Jet (acquired by Walmart), Opendoor, Ritual and StellaService.
Before joining the Norwest team, Lisa worked in Amazon.com’s Worldwide Corporate Development team. Prior to Amazon, Lisa worked at Bessemer Venture Partners, where she focused on eCommerce, SaaS, consumer Internet, and healthcare IT companies. Earlier, Lisa founded BANZAI! Fresh, a small business providing high-quality, nutritious foods to schools and hospitals in Northern California. She was named by Silicon Valley Business Journal in it's "40 under 40" in 2017.
Dr. Zhuo Li is the COO of AutoX, a San Jose, CA company creating self-driving car technology for Location Based Services platforms. She leads the team worldwide which is on the way to commercializing self-driving technology. She focuses on making deep vertical integration of the company’s A.I. software with hardware to make the optimal autonomous delivery vehicle fleet. Zhuo is one of the Women of Influence by Silicon Valley Business Journal in 2018. Prior to AutoX, Dr. Li completed her Ph.D. in computer science at the University of Delaware and went on to become a researcher at the T.J. Watson Research Center at IBM on the Watson Core Algorithms team, leading the R&D of Watson products powered by state-of-the-art deep neural networks on the Watson SaaS product platform.

Toto Haba is currently the SVP of Global Digital at Benefit Cosmetics. He leads a team that is responsible for e-Commerce, Retailer, Social, Advertising, and Influencer marketing in over 40 countries. Toto’s background is in advertising, having worked at agencies such as BBDO and Organic. He has taught at the New School – Parsons school of Fashion Marketing and has earned numerous awards during his career, with the most recent distinction being named as one of the top 21 most influential people in Beauty Digital by WWD magazine (Feb, 2017)

Raphael Weishaupt leads brand and acquisition marketing across FTD Companies' portfolio of brands – including FTD, ProFlowers, Shari's Berries, and Personal Creations. A passionate brand and digital performance marketer, Raphael focuses on striking the right balance between the two to drive sustainable business growth.
Prior to joining FTD in 2017, Raphael served in global marketing leadership roles across various industries with market leaders like Qualcomm, eBay, or GE Capital. In addition, Raphael serves as a start-up advisor in the San Diego area.
A Swiss native, Raphael received his MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. He currently resides in San Diego where he enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with his family.

Beth Monda recently joined Beautycounter to bring her expertise in building a strong digital presence to the clean beauty company that is leading a movement to put safer personal care products into the hands of everyone. Beth has over 20 years of experience in marketing and e-commerce, and prior to Beautycounter she was most recently the Vice President, e-Commerce for Teleflora. During her tenure at Teleflora, Beth oversaw Teleflora.com and their 100+ affinity partnership businesses. She also brings omni-channel experience from BCBGMAXAZRIA Group, Lucky Brand Jeans, and Coach. Beth earned her MBA from NYU STERN and her Bachelors from Middlebury College.
JoAnne Kennedy joined Nordstrom in 2014 as a senior director for merchandising technology. In 2015, she began supporting the technology team for customer loyalty. JoAnne moved into her role as vice president of technology in 2016, supporting marketing, loyalty, gift card, credit and customer care. She helps drive modern software development best practices and technology strategies, as well as operations for systems and applications. In 2016, she was elected to the Nordstrom Credit Federal Saving Bank Board of Directors as vice president of technology services.
Prior to joining Nordstrom, JoAnne was the vice president of technology at NBC Universal (2008-2014) where she was responsible for digital properties including: nbcnews.com, msnbc.com and today.com as well as hosting cnbc.com and nbcsports.com. JoAnne led the technology strategy including software development, operations, office of the architect and video engineering. She joined msnbc.com in 2005 as the Sr. Director of Product Development.

Jyoti Shukla was named vice president of User Experience in September, 2017. She and her team of over 35 designers, researchers, and writers support Nordstrom's digital platforms: web, mobile, and in-store.
Jyoti joined Nordstrom in August, 2014 as a senior manager of UX Design. In March, 2016 she assumed the role of director of User Experience. In October, 2016, Jyoti was promoted to senior director of User Experience where she served before receiving her current role. Prior to Nordstrom, Jyoti held marketing, public relations and technology positions at several companies, including Microsoft and Starbucks.
Dave Cotter joined Nordstrom as the vice president of mobile in March 2018. Dave supports and helps oversee the vision, business, and product strategy for all mobile experiences at Nordstrom.
Prior to Nordstrom, Dave was CEO of e-commerce over mobile messaging platform MessageYes, the conversational commerce platform that allows users to discover and buy their favorite products via text and app messaging by simply replying 'Yes".
A high-tech entrepreneur at heart, Dave was previously a director of engineering at Zulily and co-founded SquareHub, a mobile private social network for families. Prior to SquareHub, Dave was a general manager at Amazon in the early years of Amazon Web Services and worldwide marketing, managing teams of more than 100 engineers, product managers, and marketing managers.

Lisa Cox is the VP, Partnerships for Saks Fifth Avenue. Saks Fifth Avenue offers innovative, omnichannel partnership opportunities that reach highly engaged audiences within its retail portfolio across North America. The Partnerships team supports the development and execution of strategic partnerships with comprehensive campaigns across all marketing channels for Saks Fifth Avenue. In her role, Lisa leads the Saks Fifth Avenue teams responsible for developing and executing these partnerships across a diverse portfolio of industries from automotive, alcohol, CPG, electronics, entertainment, financial services, and travel.
Lisa has had a long and successful career that includes roles at media agencies and marketing at Saks Fifth Avenue. She joined Hudson’s Bay Company, parent company of Saks Fifth Avenue, in February of 2007 as a Saks associate and has held several leadership roles across the marketing and partnerships teams. Prior to this, Lisa began her career with media and marketing roles at BBDO, OMD, and Limited Brands. She is a board member of PS11 responsible for community events, as well as the Treasurer on the Board of Managers of the 303 Condominium. Lisa graduated from The George Washington University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Marketing. When she isn’t focused on growing customer excitement with innovative partnerships, Lisa she enjoys running, baking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Tiffanie Burkhalter is the Vice President of eCommerce for the Retail division of VSP Global. Since joining VSP in 2011, Tiffanie has risen through the organization, holding positions in finance and operations. As one of the founding members of the VSP Retail division, she has helped reimagine how eye care and eyewear are delivered by this mission-driven company.
