VP, Strategy & Merchandising Brilliant Earth

Kathryn serves as VP, Strategy and Merchandising at Brilliant Earth, where she has worked since 2014.  Her experience focuses on growth strategy, marketing, merchandising, PR, financial analysis and team leadership.   Prior to joining Brilliant Earth, Kathryn held multiple positions leading and managing within high-growth, consumer oriented companies, including serving as CFO and Director of eMarketing at online retailer, Orion Telescopes, and serving as COO/President of Melissa Joy Manning, a designer jewelry brand.   She began her career working in finance and strategy as an investment banking analyst in SG Cowen’s Technology M&A practice, an associate in Deutsche Bank’s Private Equity group (now MidOcean Partners) and an associate in Mercer Management Consulting’s strategy practice.  Kathryn holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BS, Finance from Boston College.
