Shaan Sethi

Founder & CEO Jaanuu

A private equity investor who has helped grow multi-billion dollar consumer brands, Shaan Sethi serves as founder & CEO of Jaanuu.  Sethi was recruited by his sister, Dr. Neela Sethi Young, who recognized an unfilled niche for fashionable and contemporary scrubs for healthcare professionals during her residency. Together, the dynamic duo established Jaanuu in 2013 and have nurtured the business to become the most successful and fastest growing direct-to-consumer brand in the medical apparel space.

Co-Founder and managing member of B4L Capital Management, Sethi previously spent two years as an investment professional at The Yucaipa Companies, a $10 billion private equity firm focused on investments in the apparel, retail, consumer products and distribution industries.  He segued to Yucaipa following work as an investment banker, including three years at CIBC World Markets, where he facilitated mergers and acquisitions, bank debt offerings, and high-yield debt issuances to such consumer/retail clients as American Eagle Outfitters, Citizens of Humanity, Deckers, DSW, GSICommerce, Lululemon, Quiksilver and Skechers.  He began his career as a financial advisory associate for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
