Over the past year, there has been a dramatic shift to eCommerce, bolstered by the Covid-19 lockdowns. With more people looking to buy online, now is the time to consider the next evolution of shopping - camera marketing. Using Augmented Reality, customers can preview products and be more likely to pick the right product the first time. Gucci was quick to recognize the influence of camera marketing when they launched the first global sponsored augmented reality shoe try-on Lens on Snapchat, which allowed consumers to virtually try on 4 different pairs of shoes and purchase directly in the app.
In this presentation, Carolina Arguelles, Product Marketing Manager for Augmented Reality at Snapchat, will share how AR try-on tools are pushing eCommerce forward and allowing consumers to shop for make-up, sunglasses, clothing and more from the comfort and safety of their homes.
