Tom McElroy is a seasoned digital executive with over three decades of proven success in driving digital transformation and eCommerce strategies for global technology companies, including Dell Technologies, LEXIS-NEXIS and FedEx Supply Chain. In his current role as Senior Director of Search at Dell Technologies, Tom leads the Pan-Dell commerce search team, overseeing search engine optimization and global site search. His teams influence over $3 billion of annual revenue. Tom joined Dell in 1997, departed in 2011 and rejoined in 2019 as part of a strategic initiative to transform and modernize Dell.com. His scope increased in 2021 to include Dell’s B2B online website, Dell Premier. Looking to the future, Tom is leading Dell’s adoption of Generative AI technologies to assist Dell.com customers with complex technology purchase decisions. Tom holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BS in Finance from Miami University (Ohio). He lives in Austin, Texas.
