In 2009, 17-year-old Kendall and 15-year-old Libby sat on their bedroom floor making bracelets. Driven by their natural creativity and attention to detail, their designs quickly became in high demand among their peers and the first iteration of Stoney Clover Lane was born. As early adopters of influencer marketing, the brand took off after Kendall and Libby successfully leveraged their social media presence to get their products in the hands of young A-listers like Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and Miley Cyrus.
Staying true to their mission of self-expression, Stoney Clover has evolved over the years as an extension of Kendall and Libby’s lives. As frequent flyers themselves, in 2016 they noticed that travel and lifestyle accessories were often designed to blend in with the crowd. But similar to a vacation, they wanted Stoney Clover to feel like a departure from day-to-day neutrals, so they created a line of vibrant travel bags and accessories with limitless personalization options. Through their buzzworthy collection of patches inspired by their love of travel, sports, beauty, and fashion, Kendall and Libby have become best known for bringing some much-needed personality to a historically unexpressive category.
Today, Kendall serves as co CEO & creative director running the company from their NYC headquarters or brick and mortar stores in Palm Beach and East Hampton, all while sharing their (well- accessorized) journey with their 95,000+ Instagram followers.
