Jim Hunt

Executive Director, Business Development & Strategy JPMorgan Chase

Jim Hunt is an Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase and is responsible for driving Strategy and acceptance of the Chase Pay digital wallet across multiple merchant verticals in the US. Jim is a 25 year veteran of the Payment’s Industry starting his career at Fleet Bank in Boston in 1993. He later moved to the acquiring business where he spent 11 years in New Hampshire working for Paymentech, and was instrumental in helping to expand Paymentech’s acquiring interests into Europe.  

In 2005, Jim took his career west to California and spent 6 successful years with PayPal, leading efforts to expand PayPal’s enterprise merchant footprint to include some of the largest retailers in North America. In 2011, Jim joined Visa where he was the Head of Sales for Visa Checkout, focusing heavily on Omni-Channel Digital Wallet Acceptance. In 2018, Jim and his wife moved back to the East coast where he currently resides.
