At Wine.com, Greg Elenbaas has let teams experiment with AI without locking into one vendor, while keeping a close eye on data access and ROI. The experimentation has led to real questions about what proprietary data these tools can reach and whether the spend is delivering value. In this session, he shares how to find the balance between freedom and control.

• Surfacing where unsanctioned AI tools are already in use across the organization
• Assessing security, privacy, and compliance risks created by shadow AI behaviors
• Designing policies, training, and approved tools that channel demand safely
• Implementing monitoring and governance that protect data without killing innovation
