Gary is an innovative business and technology executive with over 20 years of experience in four industries: restaurant, retail, automotive, and CPG. Prior to Newell Brands, Gary served as the VP/GM of F&I Express, a Cox Automotive company, focused on F&I solutions for automotive dealerships, finance and insurance companies. Gary served as the VP of IT Business Solutions for RCII with responsibilities across seven businesses including Rent-A-Center and AcceptanceNOW. Prior to that, Gary led consumer-facing technology strategy for Yum! Restaurants International, a division of Yum! Brands, that included global ecommerce, digital signage, and touch-screen kiosks. For many years, Gary was President/CEO for several restaurant technology companies that included customers such as Domino’s, MGM MIRAGE, Walt Disney World, and The Cheesecake Factory. Through his investments, Gary’s company acquired a competitor Davis Systems and some of the assets of OpenTable.com.
