Cory Grenier is the CEO & Co-Founder of Geenee Holdings, Inc., a proprietary computer vision based WebAR platform for eCommerce innovation and multidimensional Ad units, served across premium online merchants and publishers. Geenee technology delivers cutting edge virtual try-on (VTO) eCommerce solutions, and the first new programmatic ad format in decades, AR VTO Ads that drive increased performance results and ROI. Prior to Geenee, Cory served as Chief Revenue Officer of Firework TV app, a live shopping video technology company which raised $55M Series-A (backed by Lightspeed Ventures, IDG Capital, GSR), and later earned a total investment of $269M post Series B led by SoftBank. Earlier, Cory was the first Director of Sales & Marketing at Snapchat, contributing to the growth of the AR team, revenue and company from a 30 person startup to a 3,200 staff, publicly traded business. Snapchat would go on to achieve a peak $131 Billion market cap in Sept. 2021. Cory joined Snap Inc. in 2014, when Vergence Labs, the five person smart glasses (now Snap Spectacles) and cloud software startup where on the founding team he headed Sales and Marketing, was acquired by Snapchat in its inaugural corporate acquisition. Earlier he contributed firsthand to building Lenovo (former IBM PC) from sixth largest PC firm into a globally recognized PC category leader, Fortune 300 ($45B Revenue) brand operating in 66 countries, where he worked at the HQ in Beijing for eight years from 2005 - 2013. Cory holds a Mandarin language certificate (HSK II), is a co-inventor of four issued technology utility and design patents, earned (3) Cannes Gold Lion awards for Marketing & Retail Innovation, and has served in senior executive leadership positions at four tech startups. He has served as a CEO Advisor to Talespin, a Series B stage, XR platform to power knowledge transfer and skill alignment for the future of employment. Cory was one of the first graduates of Stanford GSB & School of Engineering’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship program; and holds a M.S.c (NBS) in the UK, and B.S. (SJSU) in Business Management in Silicon Valley - where he was born and raised in a culture of innovation.
