Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, Cody Hawken is a technology consultant and the Chief Technical Officer for 1xRUN.com. As the world's leading publisher of art prints and fine art editions, 1xRUN focuses on curating art from both the established leaders and the rising stars of the contemporary art movement. To date, 1xRUN has published over 1,600 fine art editions, curated and crafted in the heart of Detroit. With a loyal fan base of collectors and an ever-growing reach in the art world, 1xRUN continues to evolve and influence how people buy art in the online marketplace. Prior to his involvement at 1xRUN, Cody spent 7 years building and running a grassroots technology contracting company. With a focus on developing a wide range of web and technology solutions for Fortune 500 companies, Cody spearheaded projects ranging from in-vehicle communication/entertainment systems, to websites, kiosks, and innovative technology mashups for trade-shows and global events, with everything in between.
