Britany Stewart, co-founder and COO of BURST Oral Care, has pioneered the approach to delivering affordable oral care to families by developing the BURST subscription-based business model alongside co-founder Hamish Khayat.
Having begun her career with boutique consulting firm, Growthink, in Los Angeles as an analyst, Brittany quickly made a name for herself within the company, eventually being named Chief Client Officer and head of the consulting division, where her engagements focused on growth planning, capital raising and restructuring. Following Growthink, Brittany co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of FinditParts.com, the number one and largest supplier of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts online. While Brittany continues to serve on the board of advisors for FinditParts, she also serves as Venture Investment Advisor to Rob Dyrdek, where she assesses the financial and strategic needs as well as the viability of portfolio companies of the Dyrdek machine.
Today, Brittany leads the charge at BURST, working closely with nearly 20,000 hygienists and dentists the company has brought on as brand ambassadors in its first year. Whether its developing new products or sharing the BURST products with their patients, the BURST brand ambassadorship program also offers increased economic opportunity for these dental professionals. In just 1.5 years, BURST has paid out over $3 million in commission payments. For many of these dental professionals, the extra income is what allows them to take their kid to dance practice, meet their monthly car payment or embark on their first real holiday. Every week Brittany receives letters of thanks from various members of the community and its that closeness and sense of ‘family’ that continues to drive and inspire Brittany to further grow BURST into the leading oral care brand it has become.
Outside of BURST, Brittany continues her social impact work as a board member of ThursdayNights, a non-profit organisation based in Santa Monica, CA. The organization's mission is to foster community between entrepreneurs in the tech world so that they might collectively give back to the at risk in the local community. ThursdayNights has facilitated nearly $1MM in donations to its key charities - including the Boys and Girls Clubs of Venice and Santa Monica, and CityYear.
