Abigail Jacobs is Vice President of Marketing at Sephora. A seasoned marketer and brand strategist, Abigail oversees the Brand Marketing, Campaign & Content Marketing, and Social Media Content Strategy teams at Sephora, catering to a variety of touchpoints that directly impact how our clients interact with Sephora and our brand ethos and personality.
Most recently, Abigail spearheaded the launch of Sephora’s “We Belong to Something Beautiful” initiative, introducing a new company manifesto stating Sephora’s simple, but audacious goal – to lead our industry in inclusion and diversity. The campaign reflects Sephora’s longstanding brand values and affirms our promise to continue building a community where diversity is expected, and all are welcomed. To date, the campaign has announced two chapters: the first chapter, “Identify as We,” celebrates gender fluidity and inclusion, and the second chapter, “Color Up Close,” acknowledges and embraces diverse shades and backgrounds representative of Sephora’s own client base.
Since joining Sephora in 2017, Abigail has also played an important role in growing Sephora’s social presence and expanding upon new and exciting ways to engage with our audience of more than 40M fans and followers across all social communities and platforms.
Prior to her role at Sephora, Abigail ran her own branding and marketing consulting agency, and had an extensive career at Williams-Sonoma, Inc., working across West Elm, Williams-Sonoma Home, Pottery Barn Kids, and PBteen overseeing brand marketing, partnerships, content, and communications strategies. She attended Colgate University where she majored in Political Science and Art + Art History. Abigail currently lives in San Francisco.
