For the last five years, eTail has been honoring the best of the best retailers, recognizing their extraordinary achievements in email, search, social media and mobile commerce. We've also added a new category for 2016: Retail Innovator of the Year!
Over 150 nominations meant the judges found it tough to pick their winners! The night was set on Feb 28th for the Awards Reception – Check out the winners and the celebrations below.
Who’s The Most Social of The Lot?
Our first award was for innovations in Social Media. The winner of this category was Domino’s! The Domino's AnyWare™ platform is a collection of innovative technologies that give customers the ability to order Domino’s in more ways and on more devices than ever before: via text, Twitter, Samsung Smart TV®, Pebble® smartwatch app, Android Wear smartwatch app, Ford SYNC® AppLink™system and voice ordering with Domino’s. Well done to the entire Domino’s Social Media team
Over The Finish Line With Email
The winners of our Email category were the Finish Line. Finish Line’s College Fleece program is a perfect example of an innovative approach to data-driven email marketing. The Experian Marketing Suite ingests Finish Line’s first-party customer data, Experian data, and other third-party data (such as football ranking data from Sports Illustrated) to determine customer interest and execute the most relevant and engaging content based on those actionable insights.
Taking The Lid Off Search
Our Search category was won by Lids! By using a custom ad words script to automate bids based on monitored game scores, iProspect helped Lids take their March Madness game to the next level. The team used their in-house knowledge and technical skills to modify existing Google products so that they could deliver against an innovative, real-time strategy.
American Eagle Sweep The Mobile Category
Moving onto Mobile, this category was awarded to American Eagle Outfitters. Their Reserve, Try, and Buy program gives customers the flexibility to shop exactly how they want to. It is a fully omni-channel approach, requiring coordination between mobile, website, email and in-store data and messaging to center the program around each customer’s needs. Congratulations to the American Eagle mobile team!
And The Retail Innovator of The Year is…
And finally, we had our brand new Retail Innovator award. This award recognizes significant innovation in the retail space. And the winner of this award was Domino’s! Well done to the Domino’s team for their innovation in 2016!
