Guru.Club provides a turn-key, cost efficient solution for product seeding, brand awareness and content creation. Founded 17 months ago, Guru.Club’s team of 6 began its journey in a dorm room at Harvard University with the premise that the influencer marketing industry was broken and desperately needed a solution that could match the right brands with the right influencers at scale. Guru.Club is the first ever app that connects brands and nano-influencers through a private, invitation-only shopping platform. Brands can give discounts to vetted nano-influencers, gurus as they are called, in exchange for content and exposure. Each of these carefully selected gurus has at least 1,000 legitimate followers on Instagram, creates high quality content and has a highly engaged audience. After a guru purchases a product at a discount, he or she has 20 days to post a photo or video on Instagram wearing or displaying the item and tagging/mentioning the brand. The post is then uploaded onto the Guru.Club app where the brand can download the content and reward the guru with a tip in store credit on Guru.Club.
