Throughout her career, Samara has demonstrated an exceptional ability to improve sales and inventory performance, resulting in scalable operations and profitable turnarounds. Samara's commitment to her craft and ability to identify white space opportunities make her a valuable leader. This is evident in her illustrious career where she has thrived in diverse retail landscapes, from specialty giants like Gap Inc., to dynamic marketplaces such as Tophatter, and digitally native retailers including ModCloth and most recently Stitch Fix, where she has been for seven years and currently serves as the VP of Merchandising leading Buying and Private Brands teams. Samara has a remarkable talent for building and retaining high-performing teams, and creating and curating brands and products that continually surprise and delight customers. With a depth of experience in sales and merchandising, product development, inventory planning, vendor relations, and talent acquisition & training, she brings a holistic perspective to the merchandising arena.
