Josh Mahoney is Chief Product Officer of luxury consignment site The RealReal. He brings over seventeen years of retail and e-commerce experience to The RealReal. After spending time in education, Josh made the move to tech space in 1999, helping to launch oldnavy.com. From there he helped found the product management function at the Gap, developing the technology platform for the company - first focused on e-commerce, but later taking on CRM, mobile, retail stores and supply chain for the company’s family of brands globally. Josh is a dynamic leader who gets his energy from bringing together cross-functional teams to take on tough business problems. Josh graduated cum laude from the College of William & Mary with a dual major in Government and Mathematics, and has a Master’s degree in American Studies from the University of Texas. He lives in the east bay with his wife and two kids, Lucinda, 10, and Cole, 8.
