Gil Levy is a highly successful web business and e-commerce entrepreneur and guru with more than 25-years industry experience in building brands and online marketing.

He joined Splitit as vice president of global marketing in February 2019 where he is responsible for building brand awareness, online and influencer marketing, content development, thought leadership, trade shows and conferences, public relations, advertising, partnerships and product direction.

Previously, Levy founded and was managing partner of Ecommerce Partners, an ecommerce strategy, design and development, online marketing, hosting and support agency. For 22 years, he guided the growth of the firm which originated as an ecommerce website developer and grew into a full service SEO and digital marketing provider. Client experience included CNN, Donna Karan, Gap, Jagermeister, Quicksilver, TimeWarner Cable and DirecTV. Under his watch, the firm earned a Limelight Award from AdTech in 2008 for best business-to-consumer transaction website.

Prior experience includes founder and CEO of Executive Connections; chief operating officer at Web Business Services – a Netscape consulting firm; and chief technology officer at Worldwide Corporate Network where he organized the first online trade conference broadcast live from Bloomberg studios.

Born in Netanya, Israel, Levy has been a passionate computer and online surfer since his childhood when he was given a Commodore 64 computer at age 13. He visited New York in 1992, fell in love with its music scene and moved there permanently shortly after. He remains a passionate music lover attending concerts weekly. He is the father of two children – a son, age 16, and a daughter, age 13 – and resides in Harlem.
