David Kahan

Mr. Kahan joined Birkenstock in 2013 and has led the resurgence of the brand in the U.S. market. He is now responsible for all business operations throughout the Americas region. Kahan brings over 25 years of experience in the footwear industry.  Prior to joining Birkenstock, he served as President of the footwear division for ENK International – a leader in fashion trade show events. Kahan began his career with over twelve years in sales at Nike. He has held senior leadership roles in Fila, Reebok and Adidas / Rockport.  David graduated from the Columbia Business School Senior Executive Program and is a frequent speaker at industry events.
