Chris is an experienced digital marketing executive with a focus helping email marketers build world-class email programs. He has been in the email marketing space since 2004, and is a recognized expert in both email subscriber acquisition tactics and the vendor selection process. Today Chris currently serves as the Chief Marketing Officer of CertainSource, reporting to the CEO. CertainSource is the industry leader in email subscriber acquisition, providing email marketers with new-to-file subscribers that perform as well or better than their house files. Prior to CertainSource he founded Marketing Democracy, an email consultancy focused on advising Fortune 500 companies through the email services provider (ESP) RFP process. He also ran the global email services team at Acxiom for 7 years prior to founding Marketing Democracy. Lastly, he sits on the on the Board of Directors for eDataSource, a marketing services company that collects, analyzes, organizes and archives millions of marketing messages, providing competitive intelligence and analytics to the email marketing community.
